Our commitment to the environment
We believe in a sustainable and environmentally friendly planet. A planet where the resources for life are protected and within the reach of all human beings. We know that water is an essential resource for life, but that it is also an endangered resource.
Although water is a common element on Earth, only 2.53% of its total is freshwater. For this reason, at Agua Planeta Azul we promote practices for the responsible use of water in our industrial processes and when bottling the liquid in its different presentations.
In addition to reducing water losses, the company carries out various activities with its employees to raise environmental awareness, including beach clean-up days and information campaigns.

An active member of NUVI
NUVI is the largest private alliance in the Dominican Republic aimed at creating a culture of waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and recovery. In its first program, NUVI will recover plastic bottles to convert them into raw material for new products, thus ensuring a circular economy.
The purpose of this business association is to lead the circular economy objectives and support integrated waste management systems for their valorization in the country. In addition to benefiting the Dominican population and its members, NUVI aspires to become a pillar of shared responsibility in solid waste management, promoting citizen participation.

Agua Planeta Azul´s ‘s projection of savings in kilograms of plastic per bottle is 50,014 kg by 2021:
